Sunset in Anglesea

On this cold and frosty winter morning we packed the car with our camping gear and camera equipment and took the winding roads up the coast to Anglesea. The weather was suposed to be clear and we had a cunning plan to capture the sunset at South Stacks Lighthouse and then run down to the bottom of the island, camp for the night and be ready for the sunrise over Trwyn Du on Penmon.

First stop - South Stacks, Weather behaved and although there was some clouds threatning to obsure the sun we caught the most beautiful sunset. I ran down most of the staps which i instantly regretted when I had to climb back up again!

We then drove down to Penmon, We were joined by a campervan who seemed far more suited to this camping malarky. After a cup of tea we settled into our sleeping bags for the night. This managed to last till about four when we struggled to do as much as possible without leaving the warmth of the sleeping bags. Braving the freezing air we cleared off the condensation on the windows to find... Thick fog! So deserting the original plan we headed off to Snowdon for a slap up breakfast at Pete's Eats in Llanberis and to a climb up the mountain instead
